Delete Your Hills Account

You can permanently delete your account directly in Hills. If you cannot use Hills or have already uninstalled it, you can request deletion using your registered email address.

Applies to: Hills applications and account services

1. How to Request Deletion

Delete Your Account in Hills

If you can still sign in to Hills:

  1. Open Hills and go to “Settings”;
  2. Select “Account” to open the account page;
  3. Under “Account Actions,” select “Delete Account”;
  4. Read the notice and confirm deletion as instructed.

After deletion succeeds, you will be signed out. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot sign in, cannot use Hills, or have already uninstalled it, you do not need to reinstall the application or sign in to this website. Send the deletion request from the email address registered to your Hills account.

Email: Hills.app@outlook.com

Compose an account deletion request

Use “Hills Account Deletion Request” as the subject and state in the message that you want to permanently delete the Hills account associated with the registered email address.

2. Account Verification and Security

To prevent someone else from deleting your account, we will verify the sending address against the account and may reply to complete necessary ownership verification. Always send the request from the email address used to register your Hills account.

After verifying account ownership, we will process the deletion request within a reasonable period and notify you of the result by email.

Do Not Send Sensitive Credentials by Email

Do not send your password, email verification code, complete Google Play purchase token, or Microsoft Store ID key. We will not ask you for these credentials by email.

3. Data Deleted and Retained

Deleted from Active Systems

  • Your Hills account authentication identity and email association;
  • Authentication information and sign-in sessions;
  • Device sign-in records associated with the account.

May Continue to Be Retained

To verify transactions, prevent duplicate claims of purchases or entitlements, address fraud, security events, disputes, or legal obligations, we may restrict access to and retain the following for as long as necessary:

  • Purchase and subscription verification and attribution records;
  • Redemption and entitlement records;
  • Cross-platform offer eligibility and usage records;
  • A historical Hills user ID;
  • Necessary records relating to purchases, redemptions, or security events.

Data already included in system backups may not be fully removed until the normal backup rotation period ends. Retained data is used only for the purposes above and is not used to restore a deleted Hills account.

Registering Again

Registering again with the same email address creates a new Hills user ID. It does not restore the deleted account or restore or relink the previous account's entitlements.

4. External Store Purchases and Subscriptions

Deleting your Hills account does not automatically cancel, refund, or change purchases or subscriptions in Google Play (Android) or Microsoft Store (Windows). Manage cancellations, refunds, or other purchase matters through the applicable store.

Deleting your Hills account also does not automatically clear media-server configurations, downloads, or other local data on your device that is unrelated to the account. You can clear this data in Hills or the operating system settings, or uninstall Hills.

For complete information about how Hills processes and retains data, read the Privacy Policy.
